These terms describe the South Dakota Freedom Scholarship text messaging program for scholars who choose to receive SMS communications.

 

By opting in, you agree to receive recurring informational and reminder text messages from the South Dakota Freedom Scholarship Program operated by South Dakota Workforce Scholarships at the mobile number listed in your scholar profile. Messages may relate to scholarship administration, employment reviews, program deadlines, account notices, and other non-marketing scholarship communications.

 

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of scholarship eligibility or services.

 

You may opt out at any time from the scholar portal. When SMS sending is enabled, you may also reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Opting out of text messages does not stop required communications through email, portal notices, or other available channels.

 

South Dakota Freedom Scholarship Program may update these terms as messaging features and carrier requirements change. The scholar portal records the disclosure version accepted when text preferences are saved.
